8:23 am	Puffin n stuff Alright so I got back from puffin island about a week ago, but things remained hectic. Things still are a tad crazy, but for serious things have calmed down. I realized that I have more internet access than I had thought I would. YAY! but I also still have a grand deal of work both here and about town. In case you didn't know I work for the National Audubon Society (well I'm actually an intern) as an interpreter/educator with Project Puffin in Maine. For the first three weeks I was out on Eastern Egg Island where puffin colonies had been restored from 0 puffins, due to over hunting because of the plume trade, to 200+ puffins last year. On the island I lived out of my tent, and wonderfully smart me forgot my fleece jacket mainland so I had to endure the weather with just three longsleeved shirts and a rain jacket. AND OGH WAS IT COLD. 40 degrees at night and winds topping at 46MPH, I actully had to collapse my tent one night so it wouldn't blow away, that was a fun night. not. Oh and the GULLS. let me tell you about those little fuckers. largest laughing gull colony in Maine, alrght? 2,000+ individuals, ok, with me so far... THEY DON"T SHUT UP!! starting at 4:30 sharp each morning they are calling and mating and just being a nusaince. so sleeping wasn't just a weather dependent thing, it also involved ear plugs and ear muffs and my head enshrouded by the sleeping bag. But the Puffins were AMAZING. so cute, so adorable, so engmatic. and I got many and lots of photos of those guys. Blind stints were actually fun, even if they were 3 hours straight, twice a day. I got to sit and pretend I was a scientist watching birds and writing down important things, like band numbers and habits. Brown 40 is my favorite puffin, she was so fun to watch, she just sat there and acted all hoity-toity, snubbing new puffins that came to her rock and chatting it up and gossiping with some of the older puffins and her neighbors. She didn't take shit from the terns or the guillemots either. one time her mate came back to her without fish so she pushed him off her rock. <3 what a doll. and I decided, out on the island, that Black Guillemots are the best bird EVAR!!! they squeak and weeze and oh so precious. i was going to steal all of them and start a Guilly circus and it would be a great hit in Spain where they just love that sort of shit. oh and I really was planning on stealing them. I had ideas to create traps and ways to transport them places. TOMORROW IS BLACK GUILLEMOT APPRECIATION DAY!!! I AM SO EXCITED!! I give three boat tours today too. UGH! that will drain me faster than sparkly vampires. uhm... right the island. Meals were great. we had a propane stove to cook on so things stayed simple but that doesn't stop baked ziti from being amazing and muscles with spaghetti from being down right coma inducingly good. but damn it was cold for most of the time out there. and it was windy. and it rained. and it was foggy. and the work was haaaard and monotonous. I don't want to be a scientist D:  I'm very happy I'm just an educator that knows rediculous things about science. so. uhm. yeah. I'm back to the land of internet... like twice maybe three times a week now. no aim though. just things like THUS!!!!! I have tons of time to do art, but it can't be uploaded until mid August. but if you still want to toss some ideas my way that would be awesome too. Oh and Confederate Rising is done I just need to get it off my shirt and onto the computer, same with the first two chapters of a short Original/Dethklok American Idol cross over. 7:20 pm	end of the day done and done-er. Finished my finals. done packing, there's nothing to eat in the dining halls. I AM DONE! I go home tomorrow, relax and sorta unpack/repack for one day, then a super trooper thursday to sunday event. World Series of Birding!! yeah I competitively bird watch, you gonna make something of it?! actually this year, like last, I'm chaperoning and "coaching". Still, got to love it. then I mondo chill with friends. Zoe in the city. Kat at some point, possibly day one back. and Slashy! I'm going to meet up with her during my brief time in the Philly scene. And then I disappear into the fog Maine for Puffin Land. ALL SUMMER LONG. :D I will try to keep up with email. so there's a contact. and attempt to keep a flickr account for killer photos of Puffins and what I'm up to. 1:04 pm	Playlists Yes I make playlists of whatever I think is cool and awesome. and yes I have a new computer with a new itunes and I have yet to sinc my ipod with it, because I want my playlists, Oh I was angry last time I lost my playlist of summer music, it was like 60 songs long! well here goes my lists, because word isn't working and I don't like notebook or whatever it is. 6:27 pm	no computer My computer completely crashed. For those of you who kinda know me, my computer has always been shitty. but now it's really done for. It takes 2 hours for it to go from off to sort of on and about a half hour to preform any function. I can still get e-mails and attempt to check in on things around the web, but as I'm forcibbly delegated to the use of library computers things might get iffy. fingers crossed that I can nab a new computer soon, or get this one fixed. 2:26 pm	worst habit ever I have fallen into a habit, A TERRIBLE HABIT. The worst kind imaginable. I'm forgetting to eat. The past two day's I've actually remembered/been reminded. but last week I had one meal a day, and this creeps me out. Because I'm already light enough, borderline unhealthy. I just don't like dorm food and I've been killer busy. So. I'm making it a goal this week to eat everyday. twice. but no breakfast because I have class from 8-12 no breaks, and don't have time for cereals or toasties. or a toaster, or milk. But yeah... that's my update. A few more days and art will be dumped everywhere. (Comment on this)

12:48 am	I spent all day on the phone, called just about every member of my family for some reason or another. My southern Gran said "I tell you, don't ya know, it's colder than a witches cooter out here." she then went on to tell me how my Grandfather built a fire pit and was probably trying to grill with it. Oh the south <3333 makes me want to write more Cameron. I called my bro to test him on a duck, which he failed at, and it was an easy duck too. I SIGNED FOR AN APARTMENT! So I have a place to live next year. I'm still not used to my hair being this long and it's starting to creep me out for realsies. this whole thing was just a reason to share my crazed mamaw's comment and to use a crazy icon. 3:12 pm	first post Because I am made of fail. I used an e-mail account that treats EVERYTHING as spam and filters it all despite the fact that I don't use filters. So here goes again. :D I wish I had my scanner set up so I could paste some wonderfully sketchy pictures. but it's in a box waiting for me to move. EDIT: I am falling over in laughter because I have decided to join iscribble, and wonderous joy, the name I wanted was gone, and so was my back up and so on. So I went with BIGFATCATTAT as my name and I'm still giggling. Oh ps. I don't have a mouse let alone a sylus board thinger, YEAH for using my laptop touch pad!!
